Security management solutions provider PatchLink has rolled out its global solution provider programme (GSSP) across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as the vendor looks to capitalise on increased demand for security software in the region. “In the last twelve months, the demand for patch management products has been consistently growing. Customers call for efficient and proven solutions that are able to protect their systems from viruses and malware exploiting software holes,” said Alan Bentley, managing director at PatchLink EMEA. “PatchLink’s strategy is to fulfil this need as quickly as possible by expanding our channel network and offering the partners all the help they need to get products to the customer quickly,” he added. PatchLink’s channel programme has three levels: silver, gold and platinum level. The scheme aims to equip solution providers with effective marketing and sales tools, advanced technical training and experienced support staff. Platinum level status is by invitation only. The PatchLink GSSP includes a personalised partner web portal for each authorised partner with a unique ID and password. The portal gives partners varying levels of information, dependent on their status within the programme, and also offers detail on marketing campaigns, training courses, competitive insights and online lead registration. PatchLink is also offering joint marketing funds to partners with the levels available linked to sales targets.
