Trans Arabian Creative Communications Services has been appointed to manage the advertising and public relations for the upcoming friendly football match between World Cup champions Brazil and the UAE. The match will take place at the Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi on November 12 and is expected to sell out the 47,000 capacity stadium as football fans from across the region converge on the UAE capital. Brazil, five time winners of the FIFA World Cup, will be playing for the first time on Middle East soil and is expected to bring some of its most famous football stars including Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Robinho, Kaka and team captain Cafu. TRACCS has been appointed as the PR and communications agency for the match and will assist with sponsor relations in addition to mounting a complete regional media relations and advertising campaign that includes trailers for broadcast networks and radio promotions. “We are very happy to be working with TRACCS on this great sporting event and are confident that their creativity and in-depth knowledge of the region will result in campaigns that better position this one day match and attract the maximum number of fans from around the region," said Peter Nag, managing director at Grand Champion, organizers of the event. TRACCS group accounts director, Sarah Walker-Kerr, said: “We are extremely honored to be handling such an event, especially since it is the first time that Brazil is appearing in the Middle East.”
