US-based nCircle has opened a UK office to target business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The network security vendor provides a vulnerability and risk management system aimed at enterprise customers. nCircle solutions deliver continuous endpoint and network intelligence as the foundation for a balanced security ecosystem; organisations are able to measure their network security risk, manage risk through advanced analytics, dashboard reporting and integration with enterprise and other operational systems, and reduce risk by deploying scarce resources where they are most required. The firm is looking to its IP360 appliance to spearhead its UK sales strategy. NCircle says version 6.5 of the product is the first vulnerability and risk management system to offer integrated network line-of-sight risk analysis, providing a comprehensive measure of network security risk. “In an age of increasing online identity theft, malicious network attacks and stringent regulations, enterprises must become more proactive in identifying, measuring and managing a broad category of risk on their networks,” says Abe Kleinfeld, president and CEO of nCircle. “nCircle offers customers the most comprehensive security risk management solution available, incorporating vulnerability, line-of-sight, configuration, policy and application risk management. By helping companies to identify, measure, manage and reduce risk, organisations can dramatically reduce their network’s target surface while maximising operational effectiveness,” he adds.
