"Business is very good. The Middle East audio/visual market is booming and grows substantially by 200% each year," says Anand Radhakrishnan, key accounts manager, AudiViz. The company specializes in entertainment systems for homes and educational institutes. "The home theatre market is a gold mine," he says. "We're riding the wave of real estate - all those new villas that are springing up all over the place." AudiViz is a complete systems integrator, which can custom make full systems putting together equipment packages that many firms don't offer in the same place, such as Canon and HP projectors. The company's home theatre package goes beyond the standard one-room concept that many of its local rivals offer. Instead, its solutions can organically connect an entire villa through one specific command centre. It integrates screens in each room, a smart phone, computer, control system, server and even a DVD library. "It's perfect for villas," Radhakrishnan says. "You can have two guys in two rooms each watching a different movie at the same time. If a third guy in his own room wants to watch the same DVD that one of the others is watching he can play it from the beginning without disturbing the others." The convenience extends beyond the luxury home. Corporate houses are now bringing technology into their office conference rooms for in a bit to boost convenience and to project a savvier image. AudiViz's fully automated boardroom for example offers users all the features of a standard board room though interaction is convenient thanks to a tailored control interface. Audiviz has over five years of experience in the Middle East and African markets.
