Paresh Patel, group director, marketing & logistics, Graphic International Centre LLC reckons iPods and other such MP3 players will bring kids to Gitex 2005 by the numbers. "Throughout the week, schools bring students on day-out trips. Even without the schools, they come by themselves on Wednesday, which is normally a half day for some, or even on Thursday when it's their actual weekend." Graphics International CenTre LLC concentrates on people on the move Patel says, with mobile devices becoming smaller and lighter all the time. “With an entire generation addicted to mobile music and favourite songs being well-defined, the question is now how do you play them and how do you actually manage all your music?” says Paresh. Paresh reckons the firm’s wide range of accessories are equipped to deal with the needs of the newer generation. The UAE based firm offers speakers that Apple’s hugely successful iPOD can be plugged into. It also offers a range of mobile music equipement that can be plugged directly into the mains though they can be opperated via battery as well. "What's more it has an amazing sound," says Patel. Another area firms like Graphic International are tuned into is the stylishnesh of the carrying case, as unable to say who they are with cars or homes, all that teenagers have to express themselves with are the clothes on their backs, their music and how they listen to it. "Our cases are trendy," continues Patel. "They have to be, the teenage market changes very, very rapidly," he adds. Patel reckons the firm’s new Body Glove Collection aims at that moving target. The company which has now been running for well over 50 years develops protective jackets for CD and DVD optical media, MP3 players and even fully-fledged standalone DVD players. Other than offering protection, the cases are also meant to be trendy and fashionable. Today, thanks to digital technology, access to music has never been easier. Your sounds and your rhythm can go with you, anywhere and everywhere," promises Patel. As varied as the music itself, the Body Glove range of CD/DVD/MP3 cases and covers adapt to every lifestyle, trend and size. In this spirit, the company’s sport range of CD/DVD wallets fits perfectly with the world of exreme sports and freestyle surf, with dynamic curves and ultimate protection, these wallets can take any climate anywhere. There’s even a Scuba line, which as the name might suggest is water proof and designed to keep your DVD player safe, no matter the situation. The Scuba line also includes cases for iPODs, Creative’s Zen line in addition to iRiver’s Fusion line of MP3 players. They are all part of Body Glove’s collection of bags, wallets, belts and carying cases for those who like to listen to music while on the move even when in rugged situations.
