Microtop hopes to spread Orange flavour to new regions

Microtop Computer (MTC) is focusing heavily on its own brand Orange this year. With a range of new lines including wireless products, digital camcorders, MP3 players, notebooks, LCD monitors and flash memory, MTC is confident it can sustain the interest of customers.

Microtop Computer (MTC) is focusing heavily on its own brand Orange this year. With a range of new lines including wireless products, digital camcorders, MP3 players, notebooks, LCD monitors and flash memory, MTC is confident it can sustain the interest of customers. “Orange is a brand that offers the best possible price for the best quality,” says Bashar Adib, product manager at MTC. “Despite there being a large numbers of players in the market, Orange has its niche customers who know that the quality of Orange products is completely reliable,” he explains. Adib says that the company had informed the clients of various product launches in Gitex, and is seeing success by way of enquiries. “Ever since 1994, MTC hasn’t missed a Gitex. That’s because we realise how influential this event is for the computer market in the Middle East and the GCC in particular. Gitex has played a major role in our success throughout the years; it was the connection point between MTC and its customers and partners all over the region,” he says. Asab also hopes that through this Gitex, Orange will be able to capture new markets. “Through the event, we hope to add an Orange flavour to territories like East Africa and Asian Continent.” MTC has been selling computer hardware since 1994. The company provides information technology solutions for many major corporate sectors in the Middle East. MTC started its business in Dubai with one small office, but today it operates a wide network of branches, offices and showrooms. MTC are also the resellers for ASUS and ASRock brands.
