Enterprise software provider FileNet is using Gitex 2005 as a platform to highlight its advanced enterprise and business process management solutions, along with those of partner company McLaren Software. The two companies are using joint channel partners in the Middle East, and FileNet is promoting partner solutions, including those using McLaren software, at the tradeshow. “As Gitex represents a unique opportunity for reaching out to industry players and corporates, FileNet is fully geared to use this platform to familiarise regional visitors with its new generation solutions that have helped organisations worldwide to vastly improve their ECM processes,” says Carlo Stellati, vice president for FileNet, South Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Together with our partners, we have planned a series of activities and demonstrations that will give visitors an opportunity to get a real feel of our advanced solutions.” The enterprise engineer suite is designed for use with all engineering content. Tim Taylor, chief business development officer at McLaren, says, “The combination of FileNet P8 platform and enterprise engineer bridge the gap between the company’s engineering group and other parts of the business that rely on having correct, timely engineering content to get their jobs done. By ensuring easy access to the right engineering content to plant operations, maintenance and procurement personnel, errors are eliminated, resulting in fewer unplanned outages, improved compliance and reduced costs."
