Likemind Fz-LLC specialises in the areas of telecom and security, through a number of strategic distribution agreements. The free zone company, in co-operation with Euroconservice group, formed a strategic partnership in the business area of IT, telecom and security in order to develop sales and marketing for IT, telecommunications, and security projects across MENA region. Part of this co-operation sees the company teaming up with Taiwan-based Draytek Products, to distribute its range of XDSL, Broadband, and VoIP routers, across the Middle East. Draytek offers built in printer servers, ADSL built in modems, bandwidth throttling, and built-in content keyword filtering, plus other IP-related services. With many of the ADSL routers offering a similar set of features, the DrayTek router stands out with its built-in VoIP support. As well as an ADSL and four 10/100 Ethernet ports, there are two sockets for connecting phones to use with VoIP. The Vigor2600VG unit also offers powerful filtering technology to control who can access what on the internet. Likemind is also the MENA exclusive distributor for SWYX IP-LAN Telephony solution. “SwyxWare is an IP telephony solution for internal and external communication that should excite anyone wanting cost savings, ease of use, and full of features, to handle standard PABX features and call centre computer telephony integration,” says Maroun Lian, general manager, LikeMind FZ-LLC. Gitex plays an important part in the business success of Likemind. “It is very important to have a presence here because it gives us an interaction with the corporate, SMB, and SOHO market, across the MENA area.” “In addition, it opens up to our channel distribution market, for which we are looking for resellers across the MENA area. “The Middle East market is very important to our business because of its growth potential. In addition, new technologies are being released, which need to be supported,” adds Lian.
