Tempo is showcasing its latest fibre optic-based products and tools this week, as the networking vendor makes its annual visit to Gitex. The company, which also offers set-up and maintenance services for communication cable networks, is displaying its recently released fibre optic testers and tools, which are aimed at the datacom, telecom and fibre optic markets. Designed and manufactured in house, the firm claims its products and services are miles ahead of its competition. “All Tempo fibre test products use a special connection method, enabling the user to connect to all known fibre connectors without using hybrid patch cables,” explains Eric Calver, Tempo’s regional manager for the Middle East. “Tempo specialises in the installation, maintenance, testing and measurement of communications cabling networks. We are a collection of some of the strongest, most respected companies in the industry, each with a history rooted in success,” he continues. Tempo has experienced constant growth in the Middle East since its first Gitex appearance, and the company hopes to continue the trend this year. “We are keen to attract new customers and are also very happy to meet with our existing customers,” says Calver. “As the Middle East doesn't have a dedicated communications trade show, Gitex is a very important event for us,” he adds.
