MGE Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Systems is displaying its full portfolio of enterprise level products at this week’s Gulf Information Technology Exhibition. It is hoping to utilise the event to bolster its services provision across the region, through its recently strengthened channel. “At this week’s Gitex our promotional focus will definitely be on our new offerings in the channel and information communication technology services sector. We are introducing our brand new Trillenium solution, which addresses the needs of various data centre size companies. Widening our reach across the Middle East region is our primary target for this year,” says Shahid Salamat, marketing manager at MGE UPS Systems Middle East. “We signed up nearly 200 new integrators and channel partners across the region after revamping our channel programme at the beginning of the year. There is also a great opportunity for us in the markets of Iraq and Afghanistan that are now opening up, which we will be looking at during our week at the region’s largest IT show.” The MGE PowerServices brand offers complete solutions for the implementation and maintenance of UPS installations, according to the vendor. This ranges from out of the box UPS units, all the way up to large-scale projects that require surveying, audit and installation, as well as UPS replacement programmes and protection system architecture. MGE is also promoting its latest launch this week, the Comet EX3 RT. “It is a 3 phase in/1 phase out product, combining the features of large UPS devices in a small and compact size,” claims Salamat. In addition to EX3 RT, MGE is displaying the MGE Protection Centre. This is a hybrid product that offers UPS back-up features in a surge suppressor and CleanWave Zero sequence harmonic filter, the optimum solution for minimising neutral current in commercial and industrial buildings. Although still in hall six this year, MGE UPS’s stand is bigger, as it now covers a whopping 45 square feet to help accomodate even more delegates.
