The UK Pavilion at Gitex this week is host to more than 50 information technology firms, which are showcasing their products and solutions during the five-day event. Tradefair, which has helped the British firms to participate in the tradeshow, says events like Gitex provide foreign companies an opportunity to showcase their products in the Middle East. “Tradefair works closely with UK Trade & Investment nationally to assist the international business development aspirations of the information communication technology sector and exploit opportunities in global markets,” says Tradefair’s Catherine Pollard. In addition, Tradefair also works closely with various British trade directors and regional development agencies. By matching sector experience from client trade associations with regional resource and international experience, the organisation claims to deliver a first class service to companies. What’s more, Tradefair also boasts government backing. “Tradefair has grown over the last fifteen years by offering event management services including; space sales, stand design, event management services and logistic support. Tradeshows like Gitex provides us a platform to further enhance our services,” she adds. Tradefair offers more than just exhibition space and logistics, as the company assists its clients to not only plan their globalisation but to integrate real-world and virtual strategies to maximise limited budgets. “Tradefair’s client management team is able to suggest, design and deliver a range of corporate events. From product launches to road shows, seminars and conferences or sales and incentive meetings,” says Pollard. Due to customer demands, Tradefair now offers a project service to individual clients who need help to determine and manage their event programme each year. “A growing number of firms are realising this is a cost effective way of tapping into our expertise and experience resulting in quickly achieving greater coverage,” Pollard adds.
