The popular Galaxy Jewels lantern will make another return this Ramadan. First debuted in 2002 as a cardboard pack, this year the tin lantern will have a new shape and come in three colours: Gold, Silver and Bronze. Each colour will feature a different poem, written in unique Arabic calligraphic patterns designed and signed by the renowned calligrapher, Tag el Sirr Hassan. The size of the lantern has also been upgraded, from 220g to 250g. The Galaxy Jewels 1.4kg Seasonal Oval Tin will also be revamped this year with a unique poem designed in calligraphy by Tag el Sirr Hassan. “The objective of the revamp is to stay at the forefront of innovation in this important season, while continuing to bring excitement and product news to our consumers and trade partners,” said Tarek Abdallah, category marketing manager at Masterfoods Middle East. “While our seasonal range in the past few years has been tremendously successful, we feel we always want to reward our consumers’ loyalty by offering new and exciting propositions from Galaxy Jewels.”
