Focus Softnet plans channel recruitment drive

Midmarket applications vendors Focus Softnet is gearing up for an aggressive channel recruitment drive during this year’s Gitex. The ERP and CRM developer’s channel charm offensive represents a fundamental shift in strategy, designed to drive sales of solutions targeted at the lower end of the midmarket.

Midmarket applications vendors Focus Softnet is gearing up for an aggressive channel recruitment drive during this year’s Gitex. The ERP and CRM developer’s channel charm offensive represents a fundamental shift in strategy, designed to drive sales of solutions targeted at the lower end of the midmarket. Ali Hyder, CEO at Focus Softnet, said: “Focus has already established itself as a leading brand in the Middle East. We have acquired a good share of the higher end market segment and we want to improve the market share of our lower end solutions. We are looking towards the channels to plug this gap. We will recruit performance oriented resellers and channel partners at Gitex and give them lucrative offers to drive sales through the channels.” Focus Softnet offers a range of products including Focus RT, a midmarket ERP package encompassing financials, inventory and warehousing, sales and distribution, human resources, fixed assets and production planning. The vendor also offers a midmarket accounting solution, Focus6, which has already been deployed by over 2,500 companies across the Middle East. “Our lower end solutions are user friendly and easy to implement. We use the latest technologies to develop our products and customise them by offering regional specific features, which reduce the time of implementation. Localising the software makes it as easy as plug and play for the users. We will equip our channel partners with proper training, resources and technical support to further add value to their reseller-customer relationships and in turn increase their profitability,” Hyder added “We will also be launching a new point of sale solution at Gitex specially designed for super market operations with complete back-office accounting. We plan to promote and sell this product through our channel partners at a very special Gitex price, which will be 25% less than the regular market price of the product. Our point of sale product is feature-rich, competitively priced and will be great value for money,” Hyder explained. Focus has launched a training centre in Sharjah, UAE to provide in-depth training to both partners and end-users. Within the Middle East, Focus has a network of 10 offices spanning the GCC and Iran. “Visitors at the tradeshow are always looking for new products, solutions and partnerships. Product launches help IT managers in their decision making process. They are able to see what is available in the market place for either their existing projects or new ones. Gitex is a big event and visitors from all over the region are gathered under one roof and we try our best to shape their needs and dreams into possibilities,” Hyder concluded.
