Canadian based ATi Technologies Inc. plans to wow gamers at Gitex when it officially launches its multi-GPU technology in the region. The company believes that the trade show is the best time to display the new technology, due to the delegates that attend the event. “The high quality audience attending the exhibition makes Gitex the definitive IT event in the Middle East. This makes it the ideal venue for ATi to work closely with its channel partners to showcase its latest technology and highlight our pioneering position in the world’s high-tech gaming sector,” says Rauf Baig, managing director, ATi Middle East. The firm’s multi-GPU technology, known as ‘CrossFire’, targets gamers and other demanding graphics users and will, ATi claims, revolutionise gaming in the region. “ATi’s CrossFire platform is by far the most broadly compatible and flexible multi-GPU platform and gives users the most options for enhancing performance and visual quality” Baig says. “We believe this platform sets the stage for outstanding gaming now and in the future.”
