As part of its new enterprise focus in the Middle East, Sky Electronics will be displaying its own range of eXPression brand PCs and servers, alongside components from its primary channel partners, A-Open, Tyan, Epox and AMD. The distributor plans to set its booth apart from the competition through good old-fashioned value. “The offers we are going to be making at Gitex will set us apart from the competition. We are planning to have at least 12 AMD desktop solutions, ranging from high-end gaming PCs to high performance business machines and server solutions, as well as entry-level products. It is important to us to highlight that AMD is not just about desktops or workstations, but it is a serious provider of business solutions too,” says Manoj Kisani, managing director at Sky Electronics. Sky will have two stands, one in Gitex and another at Shopper. Sky’s Gitex stand will focus on promoting its technologies and the brands it carries, and the Shopper stand will concentrate on giving hot deals and bundles to users, including AMD processors, motherboards and A-Open peripherals.
