Epson knows what an excellent platform Gitex is and this year the firm plans to showcase its latest range of photo imaging products, laser multifunction devices (MFPs), convertible laser technology, large format printers (LFPs), and projectors. Epson’s new photo imaging products will be on display this year, including the Photo Link range, which comprises the P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer, F-3200 Film Scanner, PictureMate 100 and PictureMate 500. Epson laser printers, such as the AcuLaser 2600N and the AcuLaser C2600N series of convertible laser printers, will be pitched at business users during the five day event. Visitors to the vendor’s stand will also hear about Epson’s range of LFPs that offer high quality output for exhibition graphics, POS displays, CAD and GIS, fine art, photographs and printing proofs. The presence of a large number of IT companies in the Middle East and the increasing emphasis on e-services, e-learning and digitisation has presented numerous opportunities for Epson to exploit, according to the company. As such, Epson will be using this year’s show to reach out to a larger audience. “Participation in Gitex will further build our brand image and brand visibility in the Middle East region,” says Khalil El Dalu, general manager of Epson in the Middle East. “Gitex presents a number of business opportunities for Epson to tap into.”
