PR agency Orient Planet has opened an office in Beirut in order to capitalise on anticipated investment in the country’s economy. The office is the first for Orient Planet outside of the Gulf, and will also cover the Syrian, and Jordanian markets. “The opening of our Beirut office coincides with the growth of the Lebanese economy,” said Nidal Abou Zaki, managing director at Orient Planet PR and Marketing Communications. “Latest studies have revealed that marketing consultancy is a catalyst for business growth, underlining the central importance marketing an PR hold for today’s companies. “We see Lebanon as a key market with immense untapped potential. It has a competitive and free market economy which is showing clear signs of recovery.” The agency claims it has conducted a study on the growth prospects in Lebanon, which shows that “significant economic turnaround” is expected over the next few years. “Orient Planet has been working closely with several organisations based in the Levant region, addressing their requirements from its Dubai headquarters for the past three year,” added Abou Zaki. “However, we felt it imperative to have a direct presence in the region in order to serve them more resourcefully and in close proximity.”
