Holool is looking to replicate the great success it has achieved in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across the rest of the Middle East. To kick start this ambition, the software firm will be appearing as this year’s Gitex and walking visitors to the show through its products, solutions and services. “We will be showcasing innovative IT products that fit the market needs to the finest details. Our products address critical areas of businesses, and are designed in accordance with the standards of the global market place,” says Khalid Al-Rajihi, chairman of Holool. “What is unique about Holool is that it analyses customers’ problems and then designs and implements the right solutions for them accordingly. The company assists enterprises to attain higher performance and productivity, as well as better growth,” he adds. Holool’s solutions cover industry segments such as biometrics, RFID, advanced natural speech recognition, smart phone and fixed line SMS services, smart card solutions, e-commerce, e-government and B2B specific apps. However, the Saudi firm will be paying particular attention to its EXensys and HOST offerings come September 25. The former is an extended enterprise system for small and medium sized enterprises built on the Microsoft’s .Net platform, while the latter is an open-source operating system. “HOST enables organisations to reduce IT costs by allowing them to do more with less,” explains Al-Rajihi. “We will be demonstrating HOST, and taking visitors through its Linux support services which end users can take many advantages of — either in implementation or all along,” he says. To ensure it has the best possible platform from which to communicate with show visitors this year, Holool has doubled the size of its stand for the 2005 event. “Last years’ experience was very rewarding; the visitors’ responses were amazing. Therefore we opted to double the size of our stand this year,” Al-Rajihi says. “The extra space and good location in the software-dedicated hall will certainly provide us and our partners with golden opportunities to showcase the full spectrum of our business solutions.” What’s more, Holool is looking for serious returns from its larger stand, especially as it is committed to expanding its business. “Gitex is vital to our growth in the region as it allows us to meet a huge number of potential customers and partners under one roof, as well as showcase our latest innovations,” says Al-Rajihi. “By appearing at Gitex, we will have the chance to meet existing clients, speak to potential clients and create sales leads.”
