Juniper plans to use this year’s show to highlight its core competencies, such as providing IP/MPLS networks. In addition, it aims to show how it can provide value added components such as VoIP, triple play and SDX software on top of this. Juniper also aims to show its strength in the data centre and WAN optimisation fields. Its offering in these areas received a boost recently with the acquisitions of Peribit and Redline Networks for a combined price of almost US$500 million. The moves are likely to have a positive impact on Juniper’s enterprise prospects.
