Linksys will be very busy at Gitex as it plans to unveil new products and hunt out new regional partners to help build on its recent growth. In fact, the firm is convinced that the Middle East and Africa markets will become the fastest growing within the next two years, which has prompted it to make a large showing at Gitex. “Broadband availability in the MEA is growing at a very fast pace, which is in itself driving the need for wireless networking hardware and voice over IP solutions,” says Mohammad Hoda, regional manager, Linksys. “As a result, our business in the Middle East is growing at a tremendous pace. We feel strongly that the MEA is going to be one of the fastest growing regions for Linksys in the next few years.” In tune with this, the company will be showing off new products and technology at its booth in hall seven and cites Gitex as the ideal opportunity to make its mark. “Gitex is one of the most visible IT events in the MEA, so it is very important for our business to be a part of such an event. We believe that Gitex is one of the best platforms to deliver our message,” Hoda says.
