Pinnacle Systems, a media creation, storage and play-back specialist, will unveil a new line of media centres and TV tuners at Gitex, plus an unnamed “major new product”. Also on show will be the firm’s new media centre line, called ShowCentre, which allows users to project all the media files stored on their PCs or networks to their home theatres via a WiFi or Ethernet connection. “Our company has been present at Gitex for several years, mainly to launch our latest products, and have live demonstrations to show the power and ease of use of those,” says Ziad Soussou, sales manager for the Middle East at Pinnacle Systems. “It is also a good time to meet new and interested players in the Middle East market and share with them the benefits of working together.” The company will also demonstrate its Liquid Edition 6 solution for video editors, and Pinnacle is also planning a range of special schemes and promotions for the weeklong event. “Most of the special promotions will be offered at Gitex Computer Shopper and in the market during the Gitex show,” says Soussou.
