End-to-end e-commerce solutions will dominate the Jilanda SecureSmart stand at this year’s show as the company engages visitors with a host of offerings. Ranging from code signing technology for securing electronic documents and online banking solutions through to virtual private networks, online payment processing products and extranet applications, the vendor has a something for everyone when it comes to effective e-commerce. The UK-based firm also offers professional consulting services and implementation skills, and is authorised to authenticate and verify organisations to use digital technologies such as 128-bit digital IDs. “Jilanda’s e-commerce services and products inclusively add value to our customers and clients services and products,” says Hubert O. Borges-Da-Silva, managing director & e-commerce professional at Jilanda Securemart. For those Gitex visitors that haven’t heard of Jilanda SecureSmart, they need only look to the firm’s partner list to know its offerings are serious propositions. For example, the e-commerce specialist works with the likes of VeriSign, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Citrix, Schlumberger, Adobe, McAfee, BMC and Cisco. In addition to working with its global partners, Jilanda SecureSmart is also investing in its own technology, for example it is building a data centre. “We are currently establishing our secure data centre for the purpose of providing high technology services for enabling payment and communication gateway bridge services in Sunderland,” says Borges-Da-Silva. “This will complement a data centre we are building in Ibadan, Nigeria, to serve the global financial markets.” Another example of the seriousness with which Jilanda SecureSmart’s foray into the Middle East should be taken is the firm’s client list, which includes a range of banks, airlines, and government agencies. Through its UK presence, and subsidiaries in Gibraltar and Nigeria, the firm serves the likes of Citizens Bank, Reliance Bank, National Bank of Nigeria, Equitorial Trust Bank, and Clove Business Systems. Now Jilanda SecureSmart is looking to add a number of Middle East users to this list, and Borges-Da-Silva, believes Gitex is a great place to start.
