USR set to launch MAXg

US Robotics (USR) is set to launch MAXg during Gitex Dubai 2005. MAXg is a new wireless product family that the vendor claims will revolutionise the Wi-Fi market as it protects networks with a complete set of in-built security measures and provides up to 50% greater range than similar products.

US Robotics (USR) is set to launch MAXg during Gitex Dubai 2005. MAXg is a new wireless product family that the vendor claims will revolutionise the Wi-Fi market as it protects networks with a complete set of in-built security measures and provides up to 50% greater range than similar products. With a 49sqm booth strategically located in the main network and comms area, adjacent to the Etisalat stand, visitors to the company’s stand at Gitex will be presented with the opportunity to experience first hand the advanced Wi-Fi technologies that are available through USR. “At Gitex 2005, USR will focus on two key areas for growth in the Middle East,” says Sumit Kumar, regional manager, USR Middle East & North Africa. “Our emphasis is on the MAXg product family. The wireless networking abilities of MAXg are inspiring and will capitalise on the current attention on wireless. To ensure that MAXg is available worldwide, USR will invite prospective new partners in order to expand its value added re-seller base for the entire Levant region and Egypt. A strong channel is important to getting products to our customers on time,” he adds. Cutting-edge IT solutions from USR will be displayed in a home setting where visitors can experience the benefit of USR’s offerings in a real life atmosphere. “US Robotics’ presence at Gitex has been specifically designed to make our visitors feel completely at home. We are not selling a product, rather we are providing users a way to simplify their lives with the help of USR,” says Sumit. In a focused attempt to expand USR’ re-seller’s presence worldwide, the exhibition stand will also invite prospective partners to hear about the benefits selling the vendor’s kit.
