Dubai Media City gets new director

Mohammad Al Mulla will head DMC's key functions including strategy development, sales and partner relations.

The Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone has announced that Mohammad Al Mulla has been appointed director of Dubai Media City (DMC). Al Mulla takes over from Dr. Abdulhamid Juma, who is now deputy director general of Dubai Development & Investment Authority. As director, Al Mulla will seek to develop new initiatives to support the development of companies in the DMC cluster and secure its long-term growth. In this role, he will head DMC's key functions including strategy development, sales and partner relations. Previously, Al Mulla served as the director of sales and director of partner relations for DMC. He was instrumental in the development of several innovative support services for companies in the DMC community. Al Mulla played a key role in bringing many global media giants to Dubai Media City.
