Internet Security Systems (ISS) has announced its first platinum partnership in the region by upgrading its relationship with Saudi-based Elite Computer Solutions. The decision is based on the implementation of the new ISS EMEA partner programme. ISS says the new partner programme is designed to provide customers with an easy way to identify the most knowledgeable partners based on certification level and customer references. For Elite, a number of benefits come on line with platinum status including access to marketing, training, software and technical support, joint sales calls, referred sales leads by vertical industry/application, presence at ISS’ Annual Partner Conference, preferential directory listings and jointly developed business plans. Achieving this certification level significantly increases ISS’ commitment to Elite aimed at increasing the partner’s effectiveness with customers and, ultimately, boosting the partner’s profitability. “We have worked with ISS since 1998 and we work towards a common vision of becoming our customer’s security partner of choice in the Saudi market,” says Saif Al Agib, marketing manager at Elite Computer Solutions. The partner programme defines four partner categories — distributors, alliance partners, technology partners and solutions partners. Within the solutions partners category ISS has created three levels — silver, gold and platinum.
