Hardware vendor BenQ’s appetite for Middle East channel recruitment shows no sign of abating with UAE-based AVTelco the latest partner to take the plunge. AVTelco will sell a selection of BenQ’s projectors across the UAE through corporate projects and retail channels. BenQ hopes that this latest distribution deal will help it secure the number two spot in the UAE digital projector market. AVTelco offers customers a total audio-video solution, providing professional sales staff and technical services to implement turnkey projects and provide after-sales support. “BenQ has become renowned for providing personalized support to its customers, and so requires from its distributors an exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to customer care right throughout the sales process. AVTelco meets these requirements, and will be putting our years of after-sales and technical support experience at BenQ’s disposal,” said Zoran Dragacevic, managing director at AVTelco. “Projectors provide a strong business market in the Middle East, with rising demand and plenty of untapped opportunities. A number of sectors, including education, corporate, government and healthcare, are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of projectors, and our task is to enhance this awareness through our agreement with BenQ,” he continued. “For BenQ, the business market is as important as the young consumer market; we cannot reach our sales targets unless we design projectors which facilitate business as well as pleasure. While our projectors are light enough to be transported by busy executives, they are also powerful enough to present the latest movies in a full cinematic experience,” explained Robert Dung, managing director at BenQ Middle East.
