Wipro has successfully deployed a point of sales and service application for Future Communications Company (FCC) in Kuwait. The services giant developed a centralised data repository to eliminate redundancy in the system. The web-based application consisted of sales, stores and service order modules. The application streamlined the processes and improved tracking of inventory and sales transaction of FCC leading to fast turn around time for service delivery. “The application developed by us has automated the flow of information across the stores. We are happy to note that Wipro’s solution enabled FCC in expanding its business needs and deliver higher level of customer satisfaction to its end customers,” Rajat Mathur, vice president, international operations at Wipro. FCC says the new system provided the company with an effective mechanism of managing operations through out its delivery chain. The developed application can be accessed across the organisation to receive goods, automate stock movement information, capture warranty information, generate service order, automate service order information flow and transfer sales information to the application interface. “We are happy to announce the successful completion of point of sales and service application project by Wipro. With its extensive integration skills coupled with expertise in dealer management solution, Wipro ensured timely completion of the project with the deliverables meeting our quality expectations,” says Salah Awadi, general manager at FCC.
