The latest addition to the Hyatt International regional portfolio, the Park Hyatt Dubai, opens its doors on August 1. Situated on the bank of the Creek at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, the Park Hyatt Dubai will offer 225 rooms, meeting facilities and a number of F&B outlets. The Park Hyatt will be Hyatt’s third property in the city, joining the Grand Hyatt Dubai and the Hyatt Regency Dubai. The Park Hyatt will be aimed at upscale travellers looking to combine business with pleasure. “It is anticipated that 60% of guests will be business or corporate clients with 40% for leisure,” Pablo Graf, general manager, Park Hyatt Dubai, told Hotelier Middle East. “With direct access to the world famous Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, Park Hyatt will be able to offer one seamless experience that brings together the three elements of marina, golf course and hotel. Guests will find it convenient having a golf course right next to the hotel.” Park Hyatt properties are normally smaller than their Hyatt counterparts, and offer more of a boutique hotel service. The facilities and services offered by the new hotel will dovetail with those currently offered by the Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency. However, the three properties will not be actively marketed together. “Hyatt International Corporation has a special targeted global advertising campaign for the Park Hyatt brand and properties. As the Park Hyatt guest is likely to travel globally, Park Hyatt hotels are marketed globally. Each of the three Hyatt properties in Dubai has its own separate and distinct identity and is marketed accordingly,” Graf remarks.
