NEC appoints Saudi service partner

NEC Computers International (CI) has named Computer Castle as its authorised service partner for Saudi Arabia.

NEC Computers International (CI) has named Computer Castle as its authorised service partner for Saudi Arabia. The reseller’s technicians will now respond to all NEC service requirements including on site help for NEC desktops, servers, storage and notebook products throughout and after warranty periods. Nicolas Pichon, senior manager service and solutions at NEC CI, said: “The Saudi Arabia service centre follows the creation of a similar centre in the UAE. We are committed to increasing the range of services available in both countries, as we believe this will increase NEC CI’s penetration in these markets.” Computer Castle has two go-to-market strategies in Saudi Arabia: direct sales through a showroom division focussing on the small and home office markets, and with a sales force which focuses on large businesses as well as corporate and government accounts. “Our appointment is excellent news for all concerned. We have an excellent support infrastructure to quickly and efficiently manage any service and support requirements of our clientele,” said Hamed El Ashgar, managing director at Computer Castle. The appointment of Computer Castle was made by InterFronters, the regional business development unit for NEC in the Middle East and Gulf region.
