Unilever's Lipton has extended its tea range by offering both Lipton Green Tea and Lipton Earl Grey to GCC consumers. The former is promoted as having a delicate, fresh taste, a subtle aroma and a pale golden green colour. Green tea itself is known for having numerous health benefits as well as providing a gentle, revitalising lift. The beverage is also rich in antioxidants, which are proven to boost circulation, maintain hydration and protect against the harmful effects of 'free radicals'. Chronic damage by free radicals, which are molecules produced by the body, is one factor thought by scientisits to contribute to heart disease and cancer. "Our tea is aromatic and soothing," says a spokesman for Lipton. "Drinking tea rapidly revives you, helping you to focus both mind and body."
