Power IT retailer Plug-Ins Electronix has teamed up with editing software vendor Pinnacle Systems to offer free training sessions for customers at its Deira City Centre store in Dubai. The training, which represents the first time any such course has been offered by an IT retailer according to Plug-Ins, will be carried out in 84 separate sessions running through to the end of August. There is no pressure on attendees to purchase Pinnacle software and the training is absolutely free. “The response from Plug-ins Electronix customers for training on Pinnacle’s Studio Version 9 software has been tremendous. Certainly the success shown so far has urged us to think about planning further classes in other product categories,” said Miran Ellahee, marketing manager at Plug-ins Electronix. “The classes give customers the opportunity to see exactly what a product is capable of before making a purchase.” “Pinnacle Systems is delighted to be holding training sessions at Plug-ins Electronix. We know that Plug-ins customers are serious about which products they chose and are eager to learn as much as they can before making that all important purchase,” commented Adnan Saadi, channel manager Middle East at Pinnacle Systems. Customers can register for the courses at the Pinnacle demonstration stand at Plug-Ins City Centre outlet. The course covers Pinnacle’s Studio Version 9 Plus software, which allow users to create a movie using a straightforward three-step process on videotape, CD, DVD or the internet. Preset movie styles and automated features are used to accelerate the editing process.
