Plans for a US $1.8 billion (AED6.5 billion) golf-themed mega-project to be developed at Dubailand are about to be unveiled. CW has learned that the project will include up to five courses, a ‘six star’ hotel, golf academy and residential villas. It will extend over 5.1 million m2 of land, making it the world’s largest golf course development. The project, which was due to have been officially announced last week, is being promoted by developer BENAA, which is part of the Al Thani Group.
