OKI Printing Solutions has launched a new A3/A4 colour multifunction product (MFP) in the region. The firm’s four-in-one C9800 release offers businesses printing, scanning and copying in colour, as well as network faxing functions. “With unparalleled print and copy speeds for premium colour, the C9800 MFP boasts up to 36 colour and 40 mono A4 pages or copies per minute,” said John Ross, general manager Middle East, OKI Printing Solutions. “We believe that these features, along with its flexible media handling, user-friendly functionality and affordability, will empower businesses and their staff to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of their day-to-day business communications.” The C9800 MFP incorporates Oki’s new ProQ4800 Multilevel technology, with which the company claims the product can produce print quality with subtler tones and smoother gradations to lend photographic quality to all printed and copied documents. This technology is accompanied by a 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution. Thanks to OKI’s strategic partnership with EFI, a leader in digital imaging and print management solutions, the C9800 also incorporates EFI’s latest Fiery technology. This lets users proof queued jobs, balance workloads and save job templates and ICC colour profiles. The C9800 MFP is equipped to handle a wide range of media formats and sizes, from A6, business cards and CD labels to oversized A3 and up to 1.2m banners, and is stable enough to handle paper weights of up to 268gsm. An optional saddle-stitch finisher gives firms the option of folding documents, hole-punching and stapling their own documents.
