Leggo’s has brought its range of microwaveable meals to the GCC. The Australian company has built its foundations around Italian cuisine, specialising in sauces that form the basis of Italian cooking. Products include tomato pastes and purees, pasta sauces, pesto pasta sauces, stir through sauces, Italian cooking sauces, antipasto and condiments. Launched from the success of these base products come a range of ready meals prepared using Leggo’s own recipes. The concept of ready meals is still fairly new to the region, but it has proved a remarkably popular format in Europe and the US, with whole aisles dedicated to the no-fuss products. Leggo’s sundried tomato and roasted garlic pasta meal is described by the company as a ‘microwaveable meal with all the taste and quality you expect from Leggo’s’. Made form 100% Australian durum wheat and leggo’s own recipes, the meal contains no artificial colours or flavouring and is suitable for vegetarians.
