Asda'a wins National Bank of Kuwait

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has charged PR agency Asda’a with handling its communications in the country. The retained agreement will also see Asda’a represent NBK in Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has charged PR agency Asda’a with handling its communications in the country. The retained agreement will also see Asda’a represent NBK in Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Tim Harrison, financial practice leader at Asda’a will head-up the team looking after the account, and is tasked with enhancing the bank’s profile and highlight its expansion plans. “It is a coup for Asda’a Financial to have won NBK. The win is a credit to our people and the quality of our regional network. It sees Asda’a Financial move into the region’s premier league of financial consultancies,” said Sunil John, Managing Director of Asda’a. Founded in 1952, NBK is the largest financial institution in Kuwait, and has the region’s highest credit rating, with a long-term foreign currency deposit rating of A2 from Moody’s. In 2004 its total assets stood at US$19 billion, with net profits at US$512 million.
