Dubai’s Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has announced the formation of a 12 member advisory council to strengthen executive flight services in Dubai, especially at the under-construction Jebel Ali Airport. "As we worked to assemble an Executive Flight Services Advisory Council, we made sure to select members from diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of experiences in issues related to the executive flight services and the aviation field in general,” said Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai’s Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and chairman of the Emirates Group. According to Gulf News, the 12 members of the Executive Flight Services Advisory Council are ‘aviation industry experts’ who will ensure an industry-wide exchange of information on emerging technologies and strategies. The council will be chaired by Mohammad Ahli, director of operations of Dubai’s DCA. Jamal Al Hai, director of strategy & management excellence, DCA, will be the vice chairman.
