Satellite vendor DigitalSkys has signed a five year agreement with the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA) to provide teleport services that will allow DigitalSkys to offer services to the Middle East.

Satellite vendor DigitalSkys has signed a five year agreement with the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA) to provide teleport services that will allow DigitalSkys to offer services to the Middle East. Under the agreement, CYTA will host DigitalSkys’ VSAT hub at the Makarios Earth Station site in Cyprus and will provide links to NSS-6 and NSS-7 satellites. “We are very excited about this opportunity to work with CYTA,” says Charles D’Alberto, the chief executive of DigitalSkys. “The CYTA teleport is a well-established, well located and technologically advanced facility that will serve DigitalSkys and its clients well,” he adds. Founded in February 2005 and based in Dubai, DigitalSkys specialises in next generation global communications.
