The UAE’s first Lenôtre Paris, the leader in French luxury gastronomy, is set to burst onto Dubai’s social scene when it opens for business on Wednesday, 1st June. The world-renowned brand, which has been conjuring up culinary delights since 1957, will now count Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Road amongst its prestigious addresses which already include the Michelin 2-star Le Pré Catelan restaurant in Paris, a gourmet shop on rue d’Antibes in Cannes and the flagship store Pavillon Elysée on the Champs Elysées. Lenôtre Paris has a truly integrated approach to the food business and its UAE operations will include upscale boutiques, restaurants, cafés and specialised catering. “We have both the production capacity and capability to take full advantage of the vast opportunities here,” said Faisal Bin Juma Belhoul, founder and Managing Partner of Ithmar Capital, the private equity management company that manages Gourmet Catering & Hospitality services (GC&HS), the UAE franchisee for Lenôtre Paris. “The UAE’s fast-expanding hospitality sector, due to the increase in population and tourism, is experiencing fierce competition which gives rise to a more sophisticated, discerning customer.
