UAE-based distributor LikeMind is embarking on a channel recruitment drive as part of its efforts to broaden the route-to-market for DrayTek networking products in the Middle East. LikeMind, which holds exclusive UAE rights for DrayTek, hopes to build up channel breadth across the region. Maroun Lian, general manager at LikeMind, said: “DrayTek products have an excellent technical reputation and we are keen to work with an increasing number of value-added resellers (VARs), integrators and even sub-distributors where appropriate.” “The Saudi market is a major priority for LikeMind because of the scale of the opportunity that exists in the Kingdom. DrayTek products are suited for the end-user, small office home office (SOHO) and small to medium business (SMB) market segments and LikeMind is well positioned to provide channel support and offer local stock availability,” he added. Taiwan-based DrayTek aims to provide remote access solutions. The vendor’s portfolio includes a wide range of networking products including VPN facilities for SOHO customers and a number of ADSL modems and routers. The company’s existing global channel spans distributors, VARs, systems integrators and online retailers. DrayTek has also established relationships with broadband internet service providers and telcos to take its products to market as part of a bundled package.
