IT consultancy and technology services provider Al-Falak has picked up Saudi distribution rights for Aruba’s portfolio of integrated solutions for wireless networking. With increased demand for wireless solutions in the Kingdom, Al-Falak reckons that the latest addition to its product portfolio will help it service the needs of clients from various vertical industry sectors including banking, defence, finance, health, hospitality and government. “Wireless connectivity is fast becoming the networking medium of choice in many spheres of daily life in the Middle East. In the Enterprise segment of the region’s markets, with increased adoption of high-end networking to streamline workflows, wireless technology has exited the phase where its novelty factor attracted technologically savvy end-users. However, the new breed of IT managers does not compromise on speed, reliability and security requirements from their networks,” explained Ahmed Ali Ashadawi, president and CEO at Al-Falak. “After an extensive evaluation on wireless products, Al-Falak selected Aruba Wireless Networks products range for its advanced and unmatchable security, mobility and flexibility features. This addition to our portfolio will allow us to not only ensure an increase in revenue, but also develop long term synergies with all existing and potential clients in the market,” added Ashadawi. California-based privately held Aruba has carved out a niche as a vendor of enterprise class mobility and security systems. The product portfolio includes modular and stackable wireless LAN (WLAN) switches, WLAN application software, access points, wired and wireless grid points, grid controllers and advanced grid services software.
