Corel aims new editions at small business market

Corel is targeting small businesses with its two newest releases - CorelDRAW Design Collection, a three-volume series of document template collections, and WordPerfect Office 12 – Small Business Edition.

Corel is targeting small businesses with its two newest releases - CorelDRAW Design Collection, a three-volume series of document template collections, and WordPerfect Office 12 – Small Business Edition, for creating documents, presentations and more. The firm’s Design Collection is aimed at those businesses looking to bring stationery and marketing material production in-house by offering hundreds of new sources of creative inspiration to firms that already use its CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12. The collection costs $100 but will also be offered free to new buyers of Graphics Suite 12, which itself costs $399 (or $179 for the upgrade version). WordPerfect Office 12 - Small Business Edition meanwhile has been built to offer firms a simple to use, cost-effective package, covering everything from create documents and spreadsheets to presentations. As well as the MS Office-style range of spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation utilities, it also includes the popular PaintShop Pro 9 imaging utility, WordPerfect Mail, WordPerfect OfficeReady (business essentials and business plans) plus Norton’s Internet Security 2005. Office 12 Small Business Edition is priced $349, or $179 for the upgrade version.
