International Gateway Distribution (IGD) has struck a deal to market Array Networks in the Middle East and further boosted its network integrated portfolilo in the process.

IGD claims Array is one of the only companies providing site-to-site SSL-VPN solutions and believes its scalable product lineup will impress the reseller channel. “The market for networkbased solutions to optimise and secure the delivery of applications across the network continues to develop rapidly,” commented Francois Hannouche, CEO at Lebanon-based IGD. “The integration of Array Networks’ products in IGD’s portfolio is a major asset to our current and future partners.”

IGD maintains the partnership will allow it to target all areas of the channel including resellers operating in the government and large enterprise markets, and a Middle East service provider sector showing increasing demand for managed secure access services using SSL-VPN.

The SMB space — where the provision of secure e-mail services and file sharing remains a key trend — is also set to drive sales, according to Hannouche. “Through the indirect channel we will also be targeting IP-SEC replacements and resellers that have been successful with WAN optimisation controllers,” he added.

IGD also works with vendors such as Tropos and Barracuda.
