Electrical appliances colossus Braun has added a new iron to its growing household product portfolio. The Freestyle SI 6590 is targeted at busy people who want to minimise time spent on the chore of ironing, but don’t want to compromise on the result. “The new Braun FreeStyle SI 6590 is the first of its kind as it comes with a textile protector, designed to allow ironing of delicate fabrics on a low temperature but with as much steam as possible. The iron protector acts as a barrier ensuring that your clothes are safe from damage or scorching,” says Manoj Nair, regional business manager, Braun. Equipped with a high wattage to accelerate faster ironing, the Braun Freestyle SI 6590 iron also has special channels in the soleplate which release steam to the front of the iron, allowing the process to become faster and easier. While ironing, the preconditioning provides 25% more steam than comparable irons making it easier for the iron to glide smoothly over fabric, the company claims.
