Milco promotes breakfast

Milco is running a campaign in Carrefour to encourage consumers to eat a more healthy breakfast.

Milco, a National Food Products brand, has been promoting its range of ‘healthy’ breakfast options at selected Carrefour stores throughout the UAE. Large refrigeration units have been placed in the entrance to the stores and stocked with Milco products in an attempt to persuade people that Milco is the best way to start the day. A collaborative effort with Carrefour, the promotion has also set out to remind consumers of the importance of breakfast. “It is very important for people to understand that breakfast is the fuel required by the body to function well throughout the day. Milco guarantees that the freshest products are on shelf to make the breakfast time tasty and memorable,” notes Khalil Traboulsi, general manager at National Food Products Company. According to Milco, the morning meal need not be bland, and the displays suggest different types of food groups including low fat yoghurts, cereals and juice. The company, which has previously launched products labelled with the ‘Fresh Check’ indicator, displayed a variety of fruit yoghurts, juices, labneh and fresh milk.
