Radio Jawhara, a new private music channel is scheduled to go on air in Tunisia in June with Netia’s Radio Assist solution. The channel, aimed at Tunisian youth, will have a completely automated solution in place later this month. “It’s a small installation of about 10 workstations,” says Xavier De Vynck, vice president business development of Netia. “They will use the Air-DDO playout software to go on air. This is spread over two monitor screens and its GUI simultaneously displays four broadcast channels as well as access to the numerous help and preparation tools such as the cuer, on-air monitoring, playlist modification, recording and production,” he adds. The installation of the system and subsequent training will take about 25 days, according to Vynck.
