Hardware vendor Asus has announced that Empa will be its distribution partner in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This builds on an earlier deal struck in February between the two companies, which sees Empa already distribute Asus products in the UAE and other GCC countries. Empa has a strong presence in the components distribution sector across the Middle East, but wants to strengthen this position to include a full range of products, including the total 3C solutions offered by Asus. “Asus is targeting a maximum market share in all our product range, without compromising our leading position in quality and technology. We believe, with strong presence and added value from Empa, that we can make good progress with all Asus products, including motherboards, VGAs and notebooks.” says Benson Lin, general manager of Asus Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa sales group.
