MSI has launched its latest MP3 player, the Mega Stick 528, allowing users to directly record music from sources such as CD players. With direct-encoding, the MSI Mega Stick 528 lets you rip and save your favorite CD music in MP3 format. The player allows synchronous recording function for voice, FM or directly from a CD player, with recorded files stored in MP3 or WAV format. What’s more, the Mega Stick 528 supports seven backlit screens that can be changed according to your mood and also packs in a synchronised lyrics diplay for karaoke lovers. The player comes with a swing-arm USB 2.0 connector, which connects to your PC for transferring files. Also featured is the SRS WOW sound effect for enhanced sound bass and better sound performance, even with two-channel earphones. The player packs in an FM tuner, with 15 FM station presets allowing users to listen and record live radio simultaneously. The company also claims that the 528 can provide a battery life of 18-hour on a single AAA battery. The Mega Stick 528 comes in storage capacities of 512MB and 1GB. The 512MB model can store up to 170 MP3 files (or 17 audio CDs), while the 1GB model can store up to 340 MP3 files (or 34 audio CDs). These are immediately available through distributors, Ashley LLC and EMPA.
