Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts, is set to manage a seventh property in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Radisson SAS Royal Suite Hotel in Jeddah, featuring 57 luxury suites, is set to open to guests next month. The one-, two- and three-bedroomed suites, all with their own unique style in interior decoration, furniture and design, feature spacious lounges, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. “Jeddah is considered an important and influential regional economic centre attracting a wide range of travellers on business, pilgrimage and Umrah. The suites provide privacy and independence with all the benefits of a hotel stay — comfort, luxury and first class service,” says Jean-Marc Busato, vice president Middle East, Rezidor SAS Hospitality. Rezidor SAS Hospitality already manages three other properties in the Kingdom, in Riyadh, Jeddah and Yanbu. “We have signed an additional three management contracts. We are set to open a fourth Radisson SAS property in Madinah, the Al Madinah Paradise Radisson SAS Resort, and we recently announced the debut of our mid market, no-fuss Park Inn brand in Riyadh and Al Khobar,” adds Busato. Facilities at the Radisson SAS Royal Suite Hotel in Jeddah include an international restaurant and a coffee and tea lounge in the main lobby. For conferences and meetings, the hotel offers a business centre with two meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 100 attendees. The hotel also features a health club, steam room, Jacuzzi, sauna and a swimming pool. The all-suite hotel is situated in the heart of the city, on the main highway to Madinah. The property is 15 minutes away from the King Abdul Aziz International Airport, and a short walk from the city’s main shopping area, Al Tahliya. Amusement parks along the main corniche are within a short driving distance, and the old town of Jeddah is five minutes away. Rezidor SAS will manage and operate the Radisson SAS Royal Suite Hotel on behalf of the owner, Saudi Amjad Holding Company, chaired by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Wahed Al Obaid, and one of Saudi Arabia’s largest real estate companies.
