Internet Security Systems (ISS) is using this year’s annual IT security roadshow to showcase its Virus Protection System and Proventia Desktop products.

Internet Security Systems (ISS) is using this year’s annual IT security roadshow to showcase its Virus Protection System and Proventia Desktop products. The roadshow creates a forum for examining how best to secure organisations against cyber threats. The events start in mid-May and run through to early June 2005 and will stop off at what ISS calls eight strategic cities — Kuwait, Doha, Manama, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Jeddah and Riyadh. “Proventia Desktop combines breakthrough anti virus technologies with anti-spyware functionalities, application protection, intrusion prevention and many other features that are truly groundbreaking in the security industry,” says Peter Stremus, vice president EMEA marketing. The roadshow will feature keynote presentations from Johan Beckers, ISS director of technology solutions EMEA, Michael Gallagher, managed security services director EMEA, in addition to Peter Stremus, vice president of marketing EMEA. The presentations will discuss the ISS enterprise security platform and managed security services and be supplemented by a hands-on security workshop. Each stop will showcase experiences specific to the individual countries of the roadshow and bring together security directors and specialists, CIOs, COOs, IT managers, and IT planners & strategists from end-user organizations.
