Shabakah Net, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest internet service providers (ISPs) has been at Gitex Saudi Arabia this week to showcase its wide range of web services. In particular, the company is promoting its corporate and individual DSL solutions, VSAT data services, leased line, hot spot wireless services, VPN and dial-up solutions such as the Easynet Service. And the list doesn’t stop there. Shabakah Net is also touting its web presence and online marketing services, including web mail, domain name, and web hosting offerings. “Undoubtedly Gitex Saudi Arabia provides efficient and effective means to get maximum exposure for any company in this part of the world. To achieve a successful promotion of our services and products, we know Gitex Saudi Arabia is the right platform for us,” says Naeem Ahmed, marketing manager, Shabakah Net. Visitors to the show have also received a glimpse of Shabakah Net’s new initiatives — its e-learning and ASK ZAD service. “This is a new service, both for us and the Saudi Arabian market since it contains a variety of online courses for all age groups, an information and reference library, daily news from more than 500 prominent newspapers and magazines and much more,” says Ahmed. “ASK ZAD service on the other hand is a humble contribution from Shabakah Net towards Saudi society, because this program can equip Saudi Arabia’s youth with modern and job-oriented courses,” he adds. Interactive design services like web design and consultation, web programming, web site content integration and website management and maintenance services are also on the list of promotions for Shabakah Net at this week’s show. “As Gitex brings all of the business community under one roof, it’s very important for us and all exhibitors to take the benefits from this high profile show,” Ahmed says.
